My Profile

To access: After logging on, click the My Profile link at the top right corner of any page.

The My Profile page displays information about your user account. You may be able to modify some of the information on this page, including your User Name and Password. You can also choose a personal Language Preference, which allows you to select the language in which you will view the site.

You may see one of two types of My Profile pages, depending on settings chosen by your Administrator.

My Profile Page - Type 1:

If your My Profile page includes both a User Name and Password, see the field definitions below.

To change your Profile, enter changes in the appropriate fields and click Modify. Fields in the User Profile include:

● User Name

o If you wish to change your User Name, enter the change here. You will also be asked to fill in a Password. You can use the same Password if you choose.

● Password

o Your Password will not be displayed. If you wish to change your Password, enter the new Password and type it again in the Confirm Password field.

● Confirm Password

o If you change your Password, type it again in the Confirm Password field.

● E-Mail

● Language Preference

o You can view the site in any of the Languages listed in the Language Preference pull-down menu. For example, if the default language is English, you could view the site in Spanish. After you click Modify, the site will immediately appear in the new language.

o Note: If you choose a Language other than English, dates will appear in Day/Month/Year format and time of day will appear in 24-hour format. The date format will change when you have logged off and logged in again.

● Display External Courses

o External courses are courses that you have completed outside of the LearningServer application. External course information can be entered by you, by the Site Administrator, or by the Instructor.

o If Display External Courses is set to Yes, then you can see a list of your external courses under a separate heading on the Completed tab of the My Learning page.

● Department (display only)

● Location (display only)

● Job Title (display only)

● Hierarchy (display only; for account administration purposes)

● Date Added (display only; date user account was added to the system)

● Last Modified (display only; date user account was last modified)

My Profile Page - Type 2:

If your My Profile page does not include a Password, see the field definitions below. Your full user account information is stored in an Active Directory.
