To access: After logging on, click My Learning / Grades in the navigation bar.
The Grades page, also called the Grade Book, allows you to view your progress and exam scores in all of the courses in which you are enrolled. For events, you can check whether you have been marked as Completed. If you are enrolled in an event that has an added exam*, you can also see the exam score.
The Grade Book is automatically updated when you visit a course or when you complete an exam.
For courses: If a ‘plus’ sign (+) appears next to the course title, click the ‘plus’ sign to display details about the course. There will be one row of information for each lesson (or module) in the course. Some courses are designed to have only one lesson or module, while others may have multiple lessons or modules.
Status (Not Started, In Progress, or Completed)
· Roll your mouse over the graphic symbol in the Status column to view the description of that symbol.
· You are automatically marked as In Progress when you click a course title to begin.
· Each course can have different requirements that you must satisfy in order to be automatically marked as complete. (Check with your Instructor or for individual course requirements.) Note: In addition to the Instructor, the Administrator and Supervisor can also manually mark you as Complete.
· You may also see a status of Test Out*; this indicates that you passed an exam before taking the course that automatically marked you as Completed.
Score (Exam Score)
· A zero will appear if there is no exam for the lesson or module.
· If the course has only one lesson or module, but several exams, a cumulative exam score will be listed.
· For exams that you access through the Course Outline area of your course page*, the exam score will be reported on a separate row. See About Exams for a list of Exam Types.
If enabled by your Instructor, you may be able to click the exam title to view the Exam Results Report for any exam attempt that you have submitted. On the left side of the Exam Results Report, you will see the Status (Passed or Failed), Current Exam Score (Score for the Attempt you are viewing), Score Required to Pass, and Test Date. If you made more than one attempt, a pull-down menu also appears. Choose the Attempt Number to view the Report for that attempt.
Elapsed Time (the amount of time spent in all combined visits for the lesson or module listed beneath the course title)
Activity Date - the date you last logged on to a lesson or module, or the date you took an exam.
Completed On Date - the date you completed the course or event.
